Chic Closet Staple: Turtlenecks

Steve Jobs was really onto something when he discovered the power of a turtleneck. Turtlenecks are one of the few closet staples that can be dressed up or down, come in every material imaginable, and instantly takes an outfit from standard to chic.

I love to wear turtlenecks with matching sweat sets (Covid really brought this style trend on), paired with a great pair of denim, and with skirts and under dresses when the weather gets cooler. Owning turtlenecks in multiple fabrics, my favorites are knit and sweaters add to the versatile factor of this iconic garment style.

My favorite go-to brands are the Julie turtleneck from Club Monaco, & Other Stories (they make the best turtleneck sweaters), and Lucky Brand for simple and fun prints. With the holidays right around the corner this is the perfect time to start, or even add to, your turtleneck collection. This is a style that’s here to stay.
